2021's TBI SUMMIT... EMPOWERING BRAIN INJURY SURVIVORSHIP: EDUCATION, RESEARCH & ADVOCACY

Conference Dates: March 18, 2021 12pm-5pm

& March 19, 2021 9am-12:30pm

Registration Deadline: March 1, 2021

Location: Online via Zoom

Dear Neurotrauma Community,

Please see the flyer below from the Brain Injury Association of Ohio (BIAOH) for information on this year’s Ohio TBI Summit (https://www.biaoh.org/tbisummit2021), which will take place online this March 18-19, 2021.

There will be an array of talks for survivors/caregivers and also for clinicians/providers. Importantly for our community is also the opportunity to present our research and clinical work to survivors, other health professionals, and advocates from Ohio and beyond.

Please also make sure to register for the conference, especially if you would like to receive continuing education credits. There is a student discount and group rates are available to those of you who wish to view as a team – safely! Please note, education credits will not be provided to group registrants.

I’ve had the pleasure of serving on the organizing committee for this year’s conference and would love if we have a strong showing from the greater Cincinnati area this year.

Feel free to send your questions directly to me (laura.ngwenya@uc.edu) or to the Conference Chair, Kedar Hiremath (hiremath.7@osu.edu).

Thanks and I look forward to seeing you at the Summit!

Laura B. Ngwenya, MD, PhD Assistant Professor University of Cincinnati Departments of Neurosurgery and Neurology & Rehabilitation Medicine Director, Neurotrauma Center UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute
