BENEFITS

Why Become a Member?
  • For a low annual membership fee to the OHSNS, Neurosurgeons and APPs enjoy complimentary registration to the Annual Meeting. Our meeting connects members and provides new ideas and a valuable opportunity for networking with colleagues and industry representatives. AMA PRA Category 1™ credit is also provided.

  • Council of State Neurosurgical Societies (CSNS) representation. Ohio is in the Northwest Quadrant. OHSNS representation at the CSNS is determined by the number of our members. OHSNS Delegates and Alternates to the CSNS are listed here.

  • OHSNS leadership also works closely with the Ohio State Medical Association to advocate for the profession on legislative, regulatory, and payer (both public and private) issues.

  • As a member, you may submit an event or news update for posting on the OHSNS website.

Membership is FREE for Students, Residents, Fellows and Retired Neurosurgeons!

Physicians in a training, recognized by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), may join the OHSNS at no charge. They also have the opportunity to submit an abstract for a poster or oral presentation at the Annual Meeting. Involvement in the OHSNS is a great entry point for residents and fellows into organized neurosurgery.
